Bay Area Dance Company The Dancers...

Tori Allen was born in Santa Clara, California. She started her dance training at the age of five.  She spent most of her training days at Yoko's Dance and Performing Arts Academy, where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and pilates.  She performed with the Fremont City Symphony Orchestra and has performed in the Nutcracker with the Moscow Ballet.  After graduating high school in 2003, Victoria went on to receive her BA in Dance at the University of California Santa Barbara in June, 2007.  She is now teaching jazz, tap, and ballet at Tiffany's Dance Academy.

Marissa Brown is an apprentice member of Bay Area Dance Company.  She studies dance at Tiffany’s Dance Academy.
Christy Crowley began her formal dance education in Tucson, Arizona with Ballet Arts and went on to attend The North Carolina School of the Arts were she studied ballet with legendary dancers, Duncan Noble and Melissa Hayden. She attended the University of Arizona as a dance major and has danced with Ballet Tucson, Cleveland Ballet, and Zefferelli 8. In addition to dancing, Ms. Crowley is a certified Pilates Instructor and is on the Faculty of The Ron Fletcher Program of Study, a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program.
Bonnie Fisk is a graduate from CSU, Chico with a degree in Liberal Studies; concentration in Theater Arts, Dance.   She was a member of Chico States' Dance Team, Expressions.  She was a choreographer and dancer for Chico Dance Theater for 3 years and a dancer for the annual community dance show, Keeping Dance Alive.  Bonnie has been teaching at Tiffany's Dance Academy for 3 years.  She teaches Ballet, Jazz and Tap to students 2-16 years old.  She also teaches Hip Hop dance for Middle School kids at Pleasanton Middle School.
Tiffany Henderson was awarded a one-year scholarship to the renowned Tremaine Dance Center in Hollywood in 1992.  She continued her professional studies at the prestigious School of Dance at the University of Arizona, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Dance in 1997.  Career highlights include: performances with Quinn/Williams Jazz at the 1995 Jazz Dance World Congress in Nagoya, Japan; the 1996 Jazz World Congress at Washington’s Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; the opening of the International Theatre School in Amsterdam, Holland in 1997 and at Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona.  She was a soloist with La JAZDANZ of Louisiana.  Tiffany is the owner of Tiffany’s Dance Academy and the founder and artistic director of Bay Area Dance Company.

Loree Kenagy is a dancer/choreographer with a unique movement background.  In her youth, she trained with Lisa Clark Schmeling, in the areas of jazz, tap, and comedic dance. At 18, she continued to train professionally, receiving her BFA in dance from the University of Arizona in 2004. Comfortable in the genres of modern, jazz, hip-hop, and tap, she dreams of movement that fuses these disparate forms.  As a student choreographer, her work was featured in UA faculty concerts, and currently, she works as a teacher and choreographer for competitive youth dance programs. A special thank you to the friends and family who have come to see the show, and a hug to the one who took a plane to get here.  LoRee is an instructor at Tiffany’s Dance Academy.

 

Rhonda Rooker is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, and somatic movement therapist. She is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst (CLMA) and received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in dance from Brigham Young University. Career highlights include: principal role in Fantasy, performed at the Hotel Lotte in Pusan, South Korea, and an ensemble role in Jubilee at the Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas. Her dancing has taken her to England, Denmark, Russia, South Korea, and Canada and throughout the United States.  She has extensive experience teaching ballet, modern technique, and jazz, as well as children’s creative dance.  Rhonda is an instructor at Tiffany’s Dance Academy.
Polly Sutton received her early training with Utah regional Ballet.  After graduating from the University of Utah she joined Charleston Ballet Theatre.  For the past eight years Polly has been performing with companies that include American Folk Ballet, Anaheim Ballet Theatre, Disneyland Entertainment, and Tuacahn Center for the Arts.  Polly has toured throughout the United States and Taiwan as a guest soloist.  She is excited to be in her first season with Bay Area Dance Company.  Polly wishes to thank her family, especially her husband Ty, for always being supportive of her crazy career.  Polly is an instructor at Tiffany’s Dance Academy.

Agnes Tong began dancing at the age of ten. She has trained professionally at several studios including: Greta Leeming Studio of Dance, The Edge Dance Studio, Broadway Dance Center and Tiffany’s Dance Academy. In 2001 Agnes participated in her first title pageant dance competition for American Dance Awards, and subsequently was awarded American Dancer of the Year twice, once in 2003 and again in 2005. She continued to pursue her dance career and migrated south to work on the Royal Caribbean Cruise lines in 2006. Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, she has been training extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, and modern. Agnes has recently performed in a play entitled “Same Time Next Year” in San Francisco, California and is very excited to be a part of BAD Company’s “Embrace” production.
